Terms of use

The rules for this website. Client work is governed by a signed agreement, not by this page.

Who you are agreeing with

This site is published by SOLU, an enterprise established in Québec. Using this site means accepting the terms below. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site.

These terms cover the website. Work SOLU does for a client is governed by a separate written agreement, which prevails over anything here if the two ever disagree.

Prices on this site

SOLU publishes its prices because making you book a call to learn one is a tactic we would rather not use. Those prices are shown in Canadian dollars and are before applicable taxes (GST/QST).

A published price is an indication of what a configuration costs, not a binding offer. What binds either of us is a written quote signed by both. Prices may change; the version that governs your engagement is the one in your quote, not the one that happens to be on this page later.

The $500 diagnostic is paid work, and you keep the written page it produces. If you go ahead with a build, the $500 is credited in full against it. If we conclude nothing is worth building, we say so; the $500 covers the diagnostic itself and is not refunded.

What we claim, and what we do not

Descriptions on this site of what a system does are descriptions of our work, not guarantees of a result in your business. Any figure about time saved or work removed is an estimate derived from a specific engagement, and is labelled as one. It is not a promise of what you will see.

We do not claim your results will match anyone else’s. Where we can substantiate a claim, we will produce the basis for it on request.

Using the site

Ownership

The SOLU name and mark, the text, the design system and the code of this site belong to SOLU or are used under licence. Nothing here transfers any of it to you.

The footage on the landing page is licensed for use on this site only.

For work delivered to clients: SOLU owns the infrastructure and licenses it monthly. Your data is yours and leaves with you if the licence ends. Your engagement documents set this out in full; this page is not the place to rely on for it.

Availability and liability

This site is provided as it is. We work to keep it accurate and online, but we do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error free, or that everything on it is current at the moment you read it.

To the extent Québec law allows, SOLU is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of this website. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including under the Consumer Protection Act where it applies, and nothing here limits SOLU’s obligations under a signed client agreement.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Québec and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. The courts of the judicial district of Saint-François have jurisdiction.

In accordance with the Charter of the French language, a French version of these terms is available and prevails in the event of any discrepancy: Conditions d’utilisation.
