Software that does your office work, built for Québec contractors, distributors and manufacturers.
What SOLU builds
Automations that build invoices from work orders and pay summaries from hours. An app for the office, the shop and the field. A website that sends requests into the app.
90 minutes with you: how a job moves from the first call to payment, and where the hours go.
We build it around how your team already works. Fixed price and delivery date in writing first.
We host it, monitor it and repair it, under a monthly licence.

What we build, what it costs, and what the monthly licence covers, before any call.
Your software is probably fine. The problem is the manual work between your programs:
It usually lands on the owner or the office manager, in the evening.
SOLU builds the software that does that work for you: automations inside the programs you already use, an app your team works in, a website that brings requests in. Information is entered once and used everywhere. Then we host it all, monitor it and repair it, under a monthly licence.
Off-the-shelf software makes you work its way. A freelancer hands over the files and moves on. SOLU builds around how you work and stays responsible for keeping it running.
Published here, so you don’t need a call to find them out.
Start with up to three automations at a monthly price, with no setup fee, or choose one of three packages: a setup fee paid once, then a monthly licence.
A build is one piece of software made for your company: a website, a customer portal or online store, an employee portal, an app for your customers, or an internal tool such as a CRM. Package 01 has none, 02 has one, 03 has two.
Running today at two Québec companies: TorqdUp, a heavy-equipment mechanics company, and GB Tooling, a drill-rig parts distributor. Two apps, a customer portal, an online parts store, a website, and TorqdUp’s automations that run on schedule. Both came back for their next project.
The monthly licence
$500a month, to start
The automations licence, $500 a month:
The full licence, from $1,500 a month, with every package:
It goes up only when your system grows:
On the automations licence, your first build moves you to the full licence, with the package’s setup fee.
That’s why package 03, which runs two builds and the automations between them, starts at $2,500. The amount is written in your quote before we build, and it never goes up on its own.
Not included:
Hosting and normal AI usage are included.
The licence ends at the end of the month you tell us; for the automations licence, at the end of the third month at the earliest. Your data leaves with you, in standard files (CSV, which Excel opens).
Setups are paid half on order, half on delivery. Work outside the quote is priced and approved in writing before it starts. Taxes extra.
Québec companies with crews, a shop or a warehouse: contractors and trades, equipment repair and service shops, distributors and manufacturers. It fits if one of these sounds familiar:
If off-the-shelf software already does the job well, keep it. We’ll tell you so.
If we couldn’t keep it running for you afterwards, we won’t build it.
Not for the automations: they work inside the software you already use. With a build (packages 02 and 03), it’s the paper, the spreadsheets and the retyping around your software that go. Before we build, the plan says what stays, what connects and what gets replaced. Tell us which tools you use on the free call, and we’ll tell you whether we can connect to them.
The delivery date is in your quote, in writing, before we start, and it depends on what’s built. For reference: GB Tooling’s office app, website and online store went live within eleven weeks, between July 10 and September 23, 2026.
Keeping your system running: hosting, monitoring, repairs when the software it connects to changes, and fixes to what we built. It also covers up to 4 hours of changes a month and an answer by the next business day (a target, not a guarantee). When something breaks, the alert comes to us, and you hear it from us.
The licence ends at the end of the last paid month, and the apps, websites and automations we host stop with it. Your company works the way it did before. Your data leaves with you, in standard files (CSV, which Excel opens). The infrastructure stays with SOLU.
Yes, on request. We price buying the system outright in writing before you sign. Under the licence, the system stays on SOLU’s infrastructure, because we’re the ones keeping it running.
Your automations run on SOLU’s own server, in Estrie. Your apps and websites run on Vercel and Supabase (hosting services), under SOLU’s accounts. Your database’s region and every outside service involved are named in your agreement before you sign.
Mostly, it’s automation: jobs that follow your rules exactly, the same way every time. AI is used only where something has to be read or written, like a receipt read from a photo or a few lines of analysis in a report. At TorqdUp, two of the six automations use AI, for a few sentences each. Normal AI usage is included in the licence.
Xavier Fraser, who founded SOLU in Saint-Denis-de-Brompton, in Estrie. SOLU is a small studio: the person who designs your system is the one who answers when something breaks. Service in French and in English.
If SOLU ever has to close or stop serving its clients, we’ll tell you, and you’ll get a grace period to choose: take over the apps, websites and automations we built for you, or have them shut down. Either way, your data leaves with you.
Describe it in a few lines. SOLU’s AI assistant answers right away: where the hours likely go, what could run by itself and where we’d start.

You walk us through how a job moves through your company, from the call to the invoice. You get your three biggest time sinks, what would fix them and which package fits, in writing.
Request the free callWe go through every step with you, from the request to the payment, and cost each problem in hours and dollars (estimated). You leave with a written plan: what we’d build and what we’d leave alone, a fixed price and a delivery date. The $500 is credited in full against the setup if you go ahead with the project. If you don’t, it has paid for the plan, which is yours to keep. If nothing is worth building, we tell you.
